Rustic Mantel with Corbels
This is the latest project completed by Sees Custom Wood Solutions. The Mantel and Corbels are made of rustic cherry and distressed to give a vintage look. The customer was very happy and was exactly what she was looking for. David Ruter from Ruter Contracting stalled the mantel, corbels, and all the stone to complete the project.
Converted Closet to Reading Nook
This is a project that was challenging yet very satisfying as we were designing and building. The home owner was great to work with and was able to give enough details for the project that we were able to design up exactly what she wanted. As you can see in the before picture (bare closet) there was no room for book shelves and the customer really wanted to have enough books for her kiddos. We suggested adding built in book shelves and used a 3D CAD software to show how this would look to the homeowner. Being able to design and show in 3D before anything is cut sets the correct joint expectation and increases efficiency.
Sliding Barn Door & Rustic Mantel with Corbels
We had a lot of fun designing and making these two projects. They were for a very special family, my sister Carrie. She needed a sliding barn door to cover her pantry that also matched her new cabinets. She also needed a mantel to proportionally match the size of her room. Ruter Contracting once again installed the stone for the fireplace. My sister loves her new accessories and cannot help but smile knowing we made this for such a great person and family!
Two Tone Television Cabinet
We made this project for another very special customer, my baby sister Teresa and her family. She showed me a picture and asked if we could make "that". We came out to measure the room and was able to adjust the overall size to match the room. We were very proud to build it for such a great person and family!
Sliding Barn Door Television Cabinet
We designed and built this project for a gal from my hometown of Irene, SD. She sent us a picture and asked if we could build one just like it. Truly one of my favorite pieces so far and know the customer loved it too!
Painted Mantel Surround with Flanking Bookshelves
This was my first large scale fully painted project. The customer had limited space in a basement area and we were able to size the flankers proportionally with the fireplace. The client was very happy with the end product!
